Welcome to camping Rochetaillée, where you’ll discover an unspoiled and protected area in the middle of Les Ecrins National Park. This region has diverse opportunities and offers you all the pleasures of glamping in the French Alps. Campsite le Château de Rochetaillée is situated at 700 meters high, along the mainroad to the centre of Bourg d'Oisans, around 7 km, and 20 km from the Massif des Ecrins. The centre of campsite Rochetaillée is the old country house and the restored farm. In these two buildings, you will find the bar and restaurant.
Activities
On this 4-star campsite, all members of the family will be entertained. On the campground terrain you can find sports activities, like diving, badminton, tennis, basketball and athletic facilities, like a climbing wall, table tennis tables, volleyball field, mini-golf, a soccer field and even a gym. You can relax in the spa area, where there is a sauna and a hammam. The swimming pool on camping Rochetaillée is surrounded with beautiful views of the French Alps. Also, it is partly covered with a sliding roof, which will ensure a fun and safe time for the children. They will especially love the water slide!
Animation
The animation team organises fun activities for young and old. During the day you can enjoy a sports tournament, excursions to the river, air sports, rafting, horseback riding and more. During the evening there are fun activities like unique shows, live music and a disco!
Facilities
Camping Le Château de Rochetaillée offers many services and practical facilities such as a bread service, a library, a bar, an internet point, a restaurant, a business, bicycle rental, a launderette, an information center and many more. You will find a supermarket around 50 meters from the campsite.
Note in connection with an event
On Thursday, June 1, 2023 the Alpe d'Huzes will take place a short distance from camping Le Chateau de Rochetaillée.
The days before and after the event, it is possible that participants and spectators of the event will stay at the campsite. Please note that during this period some disturbance can be expected at the campsite.

For those who love facing their fear of heights: paragliding, via ferrata, bungee jumping, helicopter rides and skydiving are advised!
