Knaus Campingpark Lackenhäuser is a 4-star camping park near the three-country point in the Bavarian Forest. The campsite park is on the sunny south side of a slope of 850 meters high. Camping Lackenhäuser is beautifully situated in the forests of southern Germany, allowing you to make beautiful walks in the vicinity of the campsite. In the region you will find Passau, the Danube river and the Bohemia Forest, which extends far into the Czech Republic!
In addition to all the natural beauty, campsite Lackenhäuser also has excellent facilities such as: a covered (heated) swimming pool, a natural bath filled with spring water and a wellness center (for a fee) with a masseur, solarium, sauna and spa baths. There are also nice facilities for the children, such as: a playground, bowling alley, beach volleyball, table tennis tables, archery, billiards, darts and a mini golf course. During the school holidays there is an entertainment program for the children and a leisure program for the adults. In the forest you will find a large playground with places to make a campfire and to barbecue.

What to do in the vicinity of Knaus camping park Lackenhäuser?
Camping Lackenhäuser is located near the borders of Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. This allows you to make nice trips in all three countries! Furthermore, this is a beautiful area in the middle of the woods. The beautiful city of Passau, where the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz meet, is around 50 km away (around 50 minutes away by car). That is why Passau is also known as the Dreiflüssestadt. In the center of Passau you will find beautiful buildings such as: the Cathedral of Dom St. Stephan, two former palaces, two fortresses and an observatory from the 17th century. The Austrian city of Linz is about 70 km away, the third largest city in Austria. In Linz you can go for a nice snack, a drink or for shopping. Furthermore, Linz also has a lot to offer such as: museums, the Alter Dom, the gallery and the Karmenlitenkirche.
