Diepenheim House is the oldest castle in the town of Diepenheim and has a 180-hectare estate and is freely accessible to walkers.
Various trips are possible in the area of Hof van Twente. In Diepenheim you can go to Pitch & Putt for a pleasant afternoon of golf. For a great experience and 'back in time' you can take the steam train from Haaksbergen to Boekelo and visit the Buurtspoorweg museum. Escape room 'Hof in Langelo' in Haaksbergen is a unique escape room, located in a milking parlor that is no longer in use at a dairy farm. The 'Kukelnest' in Goor is a children's farm with a playground. Playing with water or sand, climbing, hugging animals, everything is possible. The Fire Museum in Borculo has a very nice collection of fire-oriented attributes and vehicles and in the Salt Museum in Delden you can learn all about the importance and history of salt in Twente.
