Camping L'Océano d'Or is a 5-star campsite with 450 sunny and shady sites at a great location in the Vendée region in France. Want to go for a swim? You’re just 1.2 km from the beach. The campsite is just 400 meters from Jard-sur-Mer, a pleasant seaside resort with a bustling harbor, shops, white sandy beaches and a rocky coast. Water fun l'Océano d'Or itself has plenty to offer, like the water park. This swimming pool complex consists of a heated outside pool, an inside pool, slides and a heated pool for children. The indoor pool also has a paddling pool. The swimming pools are heated to 28 ° C. Please note: for hygienic reasons it is forbidden to go into the swimming pool with shorts or Bermuda’s, only tight swimming trunks are allowed.

If you’re into hiking or cycling, the campsite offers trails and routes you can take. In July and August, the campground offers many free entertainment events for children, teens and adults. Some activities for the children might include: painting, theatre, treasure hunts or even woodcarving. As for teens and adults, in the morning you can participate in a “muscle wake up” at the pool. In the afternoon, take part in group games and sports tournaments. In the evening, the whole family can listen to live music, dance, watch a magic show or try their luck at the lotto evening.

To enjoy For a nice refreshing drink visit the bar. Near this bar you will also find a games room with video games, billiards and table football. For a tasty snack you can go to the snack shack, where they sell pizzas, paninis, chicken and fries. The convenience store offers fresh bread and groceries. At the reception you can rent a gas barbecue (other forms of barbecue are not allowed). There is WIFI throughout the campsite, which you can use for a fee. There is a launderette open every day (coins available for a fee at the reception) and an ironing board and iron can be borrowed at the reception.
