Camping Marina Julia Family Camping Village, directly on the sea between Grado and Trieste, is the ideal place for families looking for an active, sporty vacation with plenty of rest and relaxation in nature.
The campsite offers full of water fun with an olympic pool, diving pool, children's pool, river pool and a slide pool. The diving pool has platforms of 2, 3 and 5 meters high. Entrance to the water park is free; however, children under 14 years may enter only if accompanied by their parents. Parasols and sunbeds can be rented for a small fee, allowing you to relax to the fullest.
Sport lovers will also get their money's worth here. From table tennis and volleyball to soccer and tennis, there is something for everyone. The enthusiastic animation team entertains the little ones during the day and provides evening entertainment for the older youth. Children aged 4 to 10 can join the miniclub, and in high season there is babydance in the evening. Fun activities are organized daily for young and old.
Camping Marina Julia Family Camping Village is located directly on the beach. The beach has a gradual slope, making it safe for children to play in the sea. Looking for some shade? You can relax under the trees on the beach. And good news: on the beach and in the sea, dogs are welcome!
For the internal man, the campsite has a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. All meals can also be taken away. You can also enjoy a nice coffee, snacks, ice cream or pizza at the bar and pizzeria.

What is there to do near the campground?
The campground is right next to the natural reserve of Cona Island and is not far from the culturally and historically important UNESCO World Heritage cities of Venice and Padua. Directly at the campground you can book guided bike tours into the hinterland and experience the beauty of nature very closely. Excursions can also be booked from the campground, for example to Aquilea which includes early Christian mosaics and a Roman museum.
For anyone who likes to plan their own trip, a drive along the coastal road is a good choice. Via this road you can reach directly the picturesque Miramare castle high above the cliffs or also the San Giusto castle in Trieste. In the adjacent 30-hectare WWF marine reserve "Miramare" you can get to know the enchanting underwater world of the Gulf of Trieste. The visitor center organizes numerous activities throughout the year, for example Sea-Watching or guided diving.
