How do I pay?

After you have booked your holiday, you will receive a booking confirmation from Rent-a-Tent by e-mail.

You will find the payment link on this booking confirmation. When you click on this link you will get an overview of the payment options and you can easily make the payment.

Which payment options can I use?

At Rent-a-Tent you can pay in the following ways:

  • iDeal (Dutch)
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro)
  • Paypal
  • By bank transfer.

When do I have to make the payment?

If you book a holiday before 8 weeks before arrival, you must pay a deposit.

  • A deposit of 30% must be paid within 7 days after the date of booking. The remaining payment must be paid 8 weeks before departure.

If you book your holiday within 8 weeks before arrival, you must immediately pay the entire travel sum.

The exact payment date is stated on the booking confirmation.

Deposit

The amount of the deposit is equal to 30% of the rent, with a minimum of € 100,-.

The reservation costs and the costs of the cancellation insurance premium (if added) must be paid immediately and are therefore in addition to the down payment.

The deposit amount can be found in the payment schedule on the booking confirmation.

Has my payment been received?

As soon as your (down) payment has been received, you will automatically receive a payment confirmation from Rent-a-Tent by e-mail. In addition, you can easily check the payment status trough My Rent-a-Tent

My Rent-a-Tent shows the amount received and the amount (if any) remaining.

Who is "Founding Mollie Payments"?

The Mollie Payments Foundation or Mollie processes our payments. You can see them as an intermediary; they make sure your money goes safely from your bank to Rent-a-Tent.

Because Mollie takes care of the payment process, you will see Stichting Mollie Payments on your bank statement.

I have transferred my payment to Mollie's bank account?

The amounts that arrive on Mollie's accounts must always be paid via the Rent-a-Tent payment link.
Mollie cannot link your payment to your reservation if you do not pay via the payment link.

Such amounts will be automatically refunded to your account within approximately 2 working days.
