Small scale, family minded campsite: campsite Ma Prairie
Campsite Ma Prairie is a four-star campground divided by a quiet road. On one side lies all the pitches and accommodations. On the other side one can find the recreational area with a swimming pool, restaurant, inflatable castle for jumping and a multisports field to play football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton and so much more! There is also a fitness room with elliptical machines and stationary bikes to keep you fit.
Entertainment
Once a week, Ma Prairie offers a mobile climbing wall, overseen by a skilled instructor. There are two heated swimming pools, both with a different purpose. There is a rectangular swimming pool in which one can swim laps and enjoy the water in peace and quiet. The other is a pool with playground equipment, which is reserved for children to play in. Don’t forget to take a ride down the waterslide!
Activities
During the season there is a children’s club with scavenger hunts, crafts, tournaments and a mini disco. Don’t want to haul your bikes to the campground? No worries, Campsite Ma Prairie offers bicycles for rent, with baby seats, helmets and carioles available. Not even 10 minutes by car away from camping Ma Prairie, one finds the beach where the parents can relax, while the children play.
Facilities
Hungry after a day of fun? You can have a nice dinner on one of the boulevards or you can eat in the campsite restaurant. Do you feel like cooking yourself? No problem, our tents come with a fully equipped kitchen and there is a large supermarket right around the corner!

Ma Prairie is close to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Languedoc. A large program of excursions is proposed with departures from the campsite, such as one day trips to Barcelona, capital of Catalonia (free or guided visits), the Camp Nou museum (famous football club of Barcelona), the Little Yellow Train, Andorra, Figueres and the Dali Museum, the Canal du Midi and more!
Children can have fun at the waterpark in Saint-Cyprien 9,3 miles (15km) away from the campsite. Want to experience a bit of Spain? Visit Perpignan, a city that instantly feels like a city in Spain whilst being in France. Other places that are worth visiting are Collioure with a nice harbour and Sales with a castle and fort. At the sea there is a plethora of water sporting activities, think hereby of kitesurfing, diving and sailing. Prefer a little more laidback holiday? We recommend to visit one of the markets in the region or go a little more in-land and find the beautiful vineyards.
