From 1 July, camping will be allowed in the Netherlands again and sanitary facilities will be opened if the situation remains stable. Our furnished tents have already been built in the Netherlands and are waiting for the first arrivals until 1 July. Holidays with a stay in a luxury tent in the Netherlands are possible again from Rent-a-Tent from 1 July! We will inform our customers with a reservation with arrival from July 1 or later by email to pay the remaining payment of the reservation. Holidays on campsites abroad

Belgium and Luxembourg
Traveling from the Netherlands to Belgium is currently not yet possible until 8 June. We are waiting for a new update on travel to Belgium for non-essential travel like tourism. Holidays on campsites in Belgium cannot be enjoyed until 8 June. This also applies to holidays to Luxembourg at the moment.

France
Currently, travel to Belgium and therefore France is not yet possible until at least 15 June. From France we receive reports that campsites will receive protocols and rules from the French government for a meter and a half of society in mid-May that must be followed up and implemented at the campsite. The current expectation is that from around 20 June the French campsites will be opened for the French population. However, we are awaiting when foreign tourists can travel to France again and are allowed on campsites. Probably borders will be open end of June. We are still awaiting reports from the French government for the holidays in July and August.

Germany
Travel to Germany is currently not yet possible until 15 June. We are waiting for a new update on travel to Germany for non essential travel like tourism. However, Rent-a-Tent will build and open the tents for the German guests in Germany. For arrivals at the end of June, July and August, we are awaiting further reports from the German government until rules for relaxation are announced.

Austria
Currently, travel from the Netherlands via Germany to Austria is not yet possible until June 15. We are waiting for a new update on travel to Germany for non-essential travel such as tourism. The campsites in Austria have taken special measures at the campsites and will open from May 29. It has now been decided that Rent-a-Tent will build the tents in Austria. All facilities will also be open at the campsite, including the catering and swimming pool. We are currently waiting for the border easing in Germany after June 15 to travel to Austria.

Slovenia and Croatia
Travel via Germany to Slovenia is currently not yet possible until 15 June. The border crossing is opened again for tourism between Slovenia and Croatia and the same goes for the border to Croatia. We are currently waiting for relaxation measures to travel to these countries. The campsites in Istria in Croatia expect to reopen at the beginning of June with appropriate measures and guidelines. However, the border crossing for car traffic or air traffic must first be restarted in order to travel here.

Spain
Since the border to Belgium and France are still closed until at least June 15, travel to Spain is currently not yet possible. A 4-phase easing plan has been communicated whereby Spain can be completely out of the lockdown on 22 June, provided everything goes well. Rent-a-Tent has already built tents at four campsites and we are currently waiting for the new rules for international tourism to Spain. It is not yet known which facilities on the campsites will be open later. Spain will most likely only become accessible to foreign tourists after June 22. Provided that the government re-opens the borders to tourism in Spain.

Italy
Italy is currently in a lighter lockdown. We are receiving reports that the Italian government is drafting protocols for a meter and a half of society and rules for the campsites to implement on their campsites. These new rules must then be checked in early June and the campsite will be reopened after that. It is not yet known which facilities may be open at the campsite. For Italy it will most likely not be known until June if and when foreign tourists will be allowed again after 3th of June. Provided the government re-opens the borders to tourism in Italy.
