Family campsite with beautiful surroundings

Enjoy a wonderful camping holiday at camping Goorzicht in Gelderland. Camping Goorzicht is know for its service, quality and hospitality. This quaint family campsite is located in Aalten in the beautiful "Achterhoek" and has 2 heated outdoor pools and a paddling pool with a small slide. Fancy a snack or a refreshing drink? Enjoy a wide range of coffee, tea, soft drinks, (draft) beer and wines at the bar and cafeteria, where you can take seat on the outdoor terrace whilst the children are playing at the playground!

Active out in nature

The campsite is the ideal starting location for a wonderful cycling or walking tour through nature reserve "De Goor", an uninhabited area where nature flourishes! From the campsite you can also easily take beautiful cycling routes through the "Achterhoek" or go for a lovely walk over beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Visit the atmospheric center of the nearby towns of Aalten, Bredevoort and Dinxperlo, where central market squares with historic buildings like the Aaltens museum and the old Helena Church are waiting for you!

On the Dutch-German border you will find the town of Dinxperlo. A small town where the border of the two countries has had a mayor impact on daily life on both Dinxperlo and Suderwick. As the border literally runs right through it, right across the Heelweg street. One side of the street is in the Netherlands whilst the other side is in Germany.

Plenty of fun and animation

During the weekends of Ascension and Pentecost as well as the high season there are plenty of activities for the children to participate in at camping Goorzicht. This family campsite has its own animation team who will ensure that you and your children have an unforgettable holiday! The children can do crafts, play water games, run treasure hunts, play bingo and they can also ride along on covered wagon rides and disco swimming.

Location on the campsite

Camping Goorzicht is the lovely holiday destination in the beautiful Dutch "Achterhoek"! The Rent-a-Tent accommodations are place opposite the camping entrance on a new part of the campsite. All facilities on the campsite are accessible. At the field with the Rent-a-Tent accommodations there is a sanitary facility with toilets and showers (hot/cold water) available free for use.

If you'd prefer to take a shower on the opposite part of the campsite then you can request an upgradeable SepKey card for this at the reception. This building is within walking distance of the tents, about 250 meters away.

Note in connection to an event
During the weekend of the 14th till the 17th of July, the "Zwarte Cross" (one of the largest events in The Netherlands) will take place in the nearby town of Lichtenvoorde.
The campsite is located 10 kilometers away from the event. During this weekend shuttle buses will run daily between the Zwarte Cross and camping Goorzicht.
As a camping guest do keep in mind that there is nuisance to be expected from Zwarte Cross visitors on the camping with music and noise during this period. Of course you can also book a stay in our ready-made furnished tents for the Zwarte Cross for a visit to the Zwarte Cross. You will have to arrange entrance tickets on your own accord.
