The 5-star campsite La Forge de Ste Marie is located in the cosy Thonnance-les-Moulins in the Champagne-Ardennes region of France. Campsite La Forge de Ste. Marie offers top-notch facilities like the reception, the on-site supermarket, the restaurant and the indoor swimming pool. You can even go fishing at the stunning pond. This campsite is perfect for those looking for a peaceful, luxurious holiday in the Champagne region of France.

Of course, while on holiday every family wants to swim. La Forge de Ste. Marie has a gorgeous indoor pool with a charmingly decorated interior. There is a separate area for kids to splash and also for parents to enjoy the hot tub.

Almost every morning there are varied organised activities for the children. If your children are between 4 and 12 years old, they can participate in the Kids Club. Here they can create arts & crafts, explore the campsite on a scavenger hunt, come along on the teddy bear picnic or cool off during the water games. These activities are under the supervision of an animation employee. For children under 4 years, the Mini Club awaits you 1 or 2 mornings a week. In the children's area by the bar, there’s plenty of space for the children to run around. The bouncy castle and scooter park are ideal for making friends. A small climbing frame and slide for the 3-8 years is perfectly placed.

In the middle of the campsite you can find a large open grass area. This grass area is inviting for diverse sporting activities like football, volleyball, basketball and badminton. Alongside the green and quiet campsite La Forge de Ste Marie you can find a river and a little further away a lake for fishing. Young and old can try to catch a trout in this lake. Alternatively, you can compete in a table tennis tournament. Go for gold on the archery field, challenge your neighbour to a game of boules or drive to Joinville to make use of the local tennis court.

At night the family can join in on singing and playing games at the campfire, be a star in the cabaret or steal the show on the dance floor of the children’s disco. There’s also quiz night for the family to test their knowledge. Don’t miss out on the live music night every Thursday (in May and June depending on reservations) in the bar, with a mix of traditional and international music. If you prefer your own voice, why not enjoy the sing-along around the campfire?

Certainly not to be missed are the regular farm trips. Take a ride in a tractor, meet the animals on a tour of the farm and enjoy the delicious BBQ prepared by the farmer himself. A great evening out! A lot of other excursions are available. Just ask the front desk!
