Right on the bank of the Ardèche River, you’ll find campsite La Bastide in Ardèche. Activities

One of the most popular activities on a camping holiday is of course, swimming. Fortunately, La Bastide campsite has a spectacular water park, complete with heated swimming pool, super water slides and even pools for the toddlers and little ones. Also, don’t forget about the beach at the Ardèche river. So when you prefer fresh water, you’re right on the river, or if you’d rather shoot down the water slide, you’re directly in reach of the water park. Other water opportunities at campsite La Bastide include fishing (with a permit) and canoeing directly from the campsite.

When you’re ready to dry off in the sun, La Bastide and Ardèche has plenty of other outdoor activities. Play the French classic jeu-de-boules, camping favorite table tennis, workout in the fitness area, go for a jog on the running track, kick around a football or play other sports at the multisports field or have the kids swing around at the playground. If the weather is less than pleasant, head to the recreational room for games, got for a round at the pool table or read a book at the library. Nearby the campsite, you’ll find horseback riding (transport from the campsite available), a survival park (3 km) as well as quad bike and kart racing (5 km).

From May to September, make sure the kids take advantage of the recreational team, which organizes games, workshops and events for the children. They will have the opportunity to make friends from around the globe, participating in sports, water games and more.

Services & Facilities

When you’re ready to stop what you’re doing and grab a bite to eat, there are plenty of options at La Bastide in Ardèche. Of course, you can cook your own meals at your tent or lodgetent, using the fully equipped kitchen provided (stove, refrigerator, utensils, etc). If you’d rather be served while you’re on vacation, try out the newly renovated restaurant on site, the bar with a terrace or the snack bar for a quick bite.

Other helpful facilities on the campsite are the shop for last-minute items and groceries, the laundrette, the info point and sanitary blocks, which can accompany handicapped guests. Also, there are rental opportunities for a gas barbecue if you wish. Another plus to the campsite is that WiFi is free for one device, so if you'd like to post a few pictures or check your email, you’re all set.
